• Assessments for the feet, ankles, knees, lumbo-pelvic hip girdle, thoracic spine, shoulder girdle, neck and head
• How postural misalignment can cause referred pain in other areas of the body
• How postural misalignment can cause musculoskeletal imbalances and injuries

• Have the skills to identify common musculoskeletal imbalances that cause pain and dysfunction
• Understand how to use different techniques for conducting postural assessments
• Comprehend how postural deviations may impair movement
• Be able to apply postural assessment techniques with clients in real-life fitness settings

Course Procedure

1. Watch the video entitled “The Fundamentals of Structural Assessment”.
2. Read the digital Manual/Workbook entitled “The Fundamentals of Structural Assessment” and complete the various activities contained at the end of each section.
3. Complete the course examination. The course examination consists of 100 multiple choice questions.
